Monday Morning, Looking Forward – October 13, 2008 Last week’s events were the rollercoaster ride of the decade. This morning, I’m looking forward into... I’m not sure quite what. But I can give you some cues. Although for the time it looks like the administration and the IMF have the global economy under wraps, with the DOW trading up, don’t let that fool you. Bob heard an NPR report this morning that he had a good chuckle over. The reporter said something to the effects of “The economy is on the mend, the presidential campaign is in full tilt, everything looks good AND... it would take an event of magnanimous proportions to throw this thing off again.” Well, reporters, just like all of us, end up channeling at some point in their life — even if they are trying not to help it. That ‘event’ the reporter made mention of is something I suspect is right on the horizon. This morning I woke up and stepped outside for a chilly meditation in 27 degrees with my tea and big blanket. After clearing, the energies just about took my breath away. My heart felt like it was either going to blow or be swept away by a powerful energy flow. Energies came pouring off of me. Something big, something powerful is happening and we are not out of the woods yet. We are directly headed into full impact. (Extra Terrestrials? Geophysical activity? Political and military action in this country? The masses waking up?) Here are a few notes that I didn’t include below that I’d like to make note of from last week. Did you pay attention to the massive financial chess play? It happened so fast it was almost hard to keep track of. We saw the Feds cut rates again without a scheduled meeting. That’s unheard of. We saw the Feds open up something like 1.3 trillion in short term commercial loans between banks (to keep liquidity going). This was an unprecedented move. And by the end of the week, the big dinger that makes me go cold: the administration talking about buying up stock in banks that are in trouble. Sure, it sounds good, but do you really want a nationalized banking system where the government is in power of the banks and the money? We’ll eventually get back to this. Especially the money discussion. There are some interesting, new ideas popping up on the radar screen that I want to share with you. But first, here’s writing from the weekend. A Call From My Father – October 11, 2008 When Bob and I moved into our new home in the spring, we were told the ‘winds really whip up here.’ The reference to ‘up here’ meant Florida Mesa, the mesa southeast of and above Durango proper at about 7,000 feet. As I write this energy update, the winds are indeed ‘whipping’ and flapping a corner of the metal roof that is bumping away. We need to nail it down in good weather. This weekend invariably feels like a breather between the busty energetic hits this week and the coming week. Last Monday the energies felt like they were running rampant. Last Tuesday, I felt a deep, underground energetic “BOOM” that coincided with the Dow Jones Industrial coming apart at the seams for most of the week and reminded me of the deep underground rumbling feeling I felt about four years ago when the nation re-elected President Bush (or the electronic voting machines in critical states defaulted to Bush again — I have my doubts as to the viability of the mechanics of our voting system. There are too many unanswered questions). Please see the poem I wrote about that time at the bottom of this update. Wednesday, it felt as though there had been an energetic cork planted in everything, and frustratingly, it felt like absolutely nothing was moving. By Thursday it was moving again, but just felt crazy. By Friday, it was time to unplug (it was time to unplug much sooner, but I still hail to the roots of my news junkie genes. Hell, I grew up listening to talk radio, especially KOA 850 out of Denver, Colorado. The psychologist Andrea Van Steenhouse taught me the bare bones of psychology. Pete Boils taught me the dynamics of interviewing, critical thought during current events and wooed me with his stories about his good ol’ days in Pittsburgh that were more rough and tumble than good. I hung on his every word, especially when he interviewed Baxter Black during the National Western Stock Show. I ate my breakfast before catching the school bus listening to the deep rumble of Gus Mercus’s voice and the morning show along with national commentary from Charlie Osgood. Later in the day, I caught the afternoon news with Steve Kelly. (Remember when he cued many Denverites in the mid 1980’s when a tornado spiraled close to the down town area? He stayed on the air yelling for everyone to stop their cars and get in the ditch “NOW!” And many people did.) I never was an Alan Berg fan but rued the day he was murdered. Sundays in the fall and winter were all about Bronco football and listening to Larry Zimmer and Bob Martin announce the games. Later, it was Dave Logan and Scott Hastings. KOA eventually became a victim of the mass media monster Clear Channel and began running Paul Harvey commentary that still makes me want to throw up. Mike Rosen was moved into Pete Boils morning show and I quit listening. Since then, it’s become predominately right wing, but I’ll always remember my news junkie roots. In my family, it was an abhorrent sin to be uninformed. So, even though I’m trying to lean more towards Zen in these crazy, trying times, it’s more like an Ernie Pyle style Zen.) Anyway, I seriously digress... so by Friday of this past week I was feeling the sensation again that my “Lost Purse” episode had driven home so well: unplug and step away from drama. And then my father called. For a year now, I’ve unsuccessfully spoken to my parents and my brother about the upcoming events of the shift — the falling out of the old energy and the arrival of the new energy. Mostly it’s been received politely, but fallen upon deaf ears because I am, in my family, the unbridled nut case living in southwestern Colorado with a psychic business. Hardly anyone’s taken me seriously until the last several months — but even then, it’s been limited, much to my angst and worry. Like many of you, I live with the human fear of losing my biological family through this shift. (Thank goodness my spiritual family has arrived). Almost a year ago, I experienced an energetic foreshadow when I was in the landscape between wake and sleep one evening. During the experience, the energetic outlines and imprints of my immediate family appeared: Dad, Mom and Aaron. And the energetic information that came with it was a recognition of them leaving my life. I knew in those moments we had all chosen separate paths from one another and it was time for me to accept this. But the logical, human, tactile self dies hard and I have consistently mentioned the upcoming events to them in the hopes they would wake up, take note and prepare. By and large they haven’t and recently, my parents traveled east to spend a month with Aaron, Samantha, his wife, and their twin boys, Miles and Arthur (who are irresistibly scrumptious at just shy of their third birthdays). They are all in Schenectady, New York and I am about as far away as I can be in Durango, Colorado. So, when my father called Friday afternoon saying, “Please tell me that 8,000 is the floor” in a panicked voice, my heart sank. He was referring to the Dow Jones Industrial Average that had seen its most volatile day ever, trading in a thousand point range. The Dow had also finished its worst week in American history, losing 1500 points and down almost 2000 points at times. I thought, “It’s beginning and there is nothing I can do.” My father, like so many Americans, has worked his entire life, saving for his and my mother’s retirement. He invested; he paid off the mortgage on their home; and he clicked away the years on a job to make sure we were all provided for in the hopes that some day he would have some time to enjoy to himself. My mother has also contributed, working as a teacher after my brother and I left for college. They both have also responsibly invested the inheritance from their own parents, people of what we now call the Greatest Generation who taught us these fiscally responsible habits: be educated, save, invest, build, insure. This is all we have known. But the world is dramatically and rapidly changing. “What’s a daughter to do?” I thought in the moments before answering him. I knew Dad was earnestly asking my psychic and my market opinion (I traded options for a time in the late 90’s). Other than philosophy, the stock market has also been one of our favorite subjects that no one else in the family has shared. We’ve spent hours talking about floors, ceilings, averages, and company profiles. But the answer I had for Dad really wasn’t the one he wanted to hear. I said, “Dad, remember how I’ve been talking about the new energy all year and the old energy falling out?” He said, “Yes.” So I continued, I said, “Dad, this is it. This is the beginnings of the old energy falling out and the new energy coming.” Then I added, “Honestly, I don’t know if 8,000 is the bottom. I really don’t believe it is. I believe it’ll be a resting point.” (As it had recovered Friday, making a nice technical u-shape in its day graph — a precursor to beginning to trade a range.) We then discussed that there was a pretty good technical floor at 8,000, but below that, there was nothing to catch a fall until about 2,000. Then, I figured since he was listening, I might as well go for broke: I started talking about the extra terrestrials and the potential mother light ships predicted for sightings at the beginning of this week. It was a surreal and humorous conversation. As if the DOW wasn’t enough, here I was throwing in the potential of mass mother light ships appearing globally. Dad took it rather well and laughed a little, saying, “Well, if the E.T’s show up it will make the losses on the DOW pale in comparison.” And now that I’m writing this, that’s EXACTLY it. My reasoning behind pushing the envelope and mentioning the E.T.’s was that I’m concerned about the impact of all this drama on my father’s health. He’s in remarkably good condition for 67, but Friday was the first day I experienced seeing how some people across the country will not be able to see past their financial losses into a new time and might experience heart attacks, suicides and strokes. I don’t want my father to be one of these situations. I figured the E.T.’s showing might push him over the edge. But he showed me the opposite. Extra Terrestrials appearing, and/or their light ships might put this economic crisis into perspective. We hung up the phone and at least I know for this weekend my parents are safe with my twin nephews in New York while my brother and his wife travel in Canada. Next week will be a new story that none of us know, but for now, at least I know I can talk with my Dad about stocks and E.T.’s and say we love one another at the end of the conversation. Busting the Britches of Old Ideologies and Putting on a New Pair of Consciousness Britches Writing about the conversation with my father brought some basics to the surface that I don’t think I’ve metered out here. It’s probably time. I keep using the general phrases ‘old energy’ and ‘new energy.’ What do I and others in the metaphysical community mean when we talk about these two terms? Everyone probably has a different take on these – so I don’t mean to put words into others’ mouths. But over the last several years, these two terms have evolved into some pretty specific meanings for me. Let’s start with ‘the system’ or what I like to refer to as ‘the matrix’ — not too un-similar from the matrix concept in the movie “The Matrix.” In this country (and also other Western leaning countries), the majority of us have been raised with certain ideologies, belief systems and practices. These ideologies, belief systems and practices contribute to the strength, health and success of the entire system. As a majority, we’ve had instilled in us that getting an education, going to church, getting a job, earning a paycheck, putting our money in the bank, investing our savings, paying taxes, keeping insurance, buying a home (and/or car) and paying a mortgage and (staying out of jail) are all really important things to do to be a good, contributing, responsible, successful citizens. THIS is what we’ve all bought into at one level or another. Now, before I dive off the deep end, I want to clarify so that I’m not misunderstood. I am a believer in some kind of system. I also do not believe in anarchy. I also believe that there are many positive, empowering and healthy aspects in the system outlined above... however, the way we are using the system, and the system itself is horrendously outdated, ineffective and at the moment causing a great deal of harm to our planet and ourselves. In essence, the best way to put it is this: we are outgrowing our system through our own consciousness evolution. We’re busting our britches and its time to put on a new pair by living through a system overhaul into a new time. What are the energetic dynamics of this system overhaul? I’ve talked about these before at different times and they are becoming to me like a basket of concepts. Here they are: we are leaving three dimensions and transforming through to five dimensions; we are leaving mind space and shifting towards heart space — a key link to experiencing five dimensional energy; we are shifting through into higher resonating energies and low resonating energies are un-seeding from our bodies, souls, homes, work, spaces and planet; and male energy and female energy are coming into balance. We are all experiencing these energetics at one level or another, some more consciously than others. Yet, there is also one more piece in the energy dynamics affecting this system overhaul and it has to do with core, intrinsic energy. It’s what I call energetic truth. As the elements of what I described above play out, watch it in relation to energetic truth (very similar to what I wrote about in “Living the Conviction of Your Intuitive Truth.”). Let’s take energetic truth and hold it next to, let’s say, insurance. Since I’m an ex-insurance agent and a current policy holder I feel knowledgeable to intelligently talk about this. The concept underlying all insurance is that you take out and pay for a policy that insures against the possibility of damaging future events on perhaps your property, your health, your life or more. Your agent sells you the policy. You feel safe that you did something financially smart and everyone is happy. (We’re going to set aside claims hassles, exponentially increasing rates, company disloyalty to long term customers, policy cancellations etc for the sake of cutting to the chase). Where were we? So, everyone’s happy the policy got written. Right? Not so fast. Look again. Let’s hold this insurance concept in light with the new energies. The insurance concept is based upon what? It is based upon some feared upon ‘what if’ thing in the future potentially harming you. This, in the new energies, is considered a fear based concept. And the new energies have little if nothing to do with fear. Fear based energy is low resonating, old energy, the very energy that is being unseeded from the planet. Also, insurance is based upon the future. New energies are about being as present as possible in your body in the current moment — it’s about being present now. Insurance is all about covering you for an accident. In the new energies, there is no such thing as an accident. The more we know about quantum physics, what I like to call the energy mirror, is that nothing is an accident. We are more and more ably creating our lives — we are not victims to our lives. Nothing is happenstance. We are at every moment creating from within and then attracting it to us. So, insurance leans more in the direction of saying, ‘you aren’t responsible for what you create, the statistical loss ratio of the group is (some call this karma or energy balancing)’ New energy is all about claiming responsibility for who you are, what you do and what you create. Insurance also feeds the fear that you, I, we are not taken care of by the universe. It relies on the three dimensional dingers of the dog-eat-dog physical survivalism of the world. But the bottom line is that we are taken care of by the universe, we are loved, and our personal intuitive systems lead the way, especially when we let go of fear and trust. So, energetically, over time, insurance is not going to stand up in the new energies. It will erode away in one way shape or form or another. It has no foundational energetic legs to stand upon in the new, five dimensional, high resonating energy. Case in point, did you ever meet an angel carrying an insurance policy taken out by AIG? This is just one part of our old energy system held to the light of the new energy. Try it for yourself and go down the list of the stalwarts of our system: money, education, real estate, mortgages and interest, religion, health care, taxes, employment, even entertainment (to make us forget about all the rest), etc. Then, look at the pile of bills you pay each month. How many of those bills are about high resonance, new energy, transformational states? There are probably hardly any. We have been and are lugging around the dregs of the old energy systems. Just as none of us are immune from the energy changes, so are none of our systems immune from the energy changes. Some will fall out, some will survive and exist and some will transform. So, instead of getting wrapped up in the fear of it, let’s adieu it bon voyage because these are energies that no longer serve our higher purpose. So, Now What Do I Do? The Wild Card Yeah, I know, that last section paints a helluva rosy picture doesn’t it?! Because, if a large majority of our systems fall out (because so little of it is actually standing upon the foundation of new energy), what the hell are we going to do? How are we going to live? Well, if we continue to look down the three dimensional, physical survivalism barrel, it looks like a dead end bleak picture, doesn’t it? I know the mass media news and then talk in the circles of family, friends, schoolmates and business associates for many weeks will be filled with fear, worry, concern, chaos, loss and scarcity. Certainly, the Bush administration and the world banking system will be playing off of the crisis they’ve created to try to rope us back into a bigger, better, newer system that is designed to imprison us even further through military and political manipulation, shifts in banking power, and new monetary systems like the Amero. The old energy, the old guard, the reptilians and Illuminati know their time is short and they are trying to capitalize, literally, between now and 2012. (Go watch Zeitgeist and Addendum). But is anyone remembering the wild card? Let me repeat that. Is anyone remembering the wild card? The wild card being this new energy. The very energy that is beginning to knock out the underpinnings of our very lives is ALSO the very energy that gives us the tools to live in the coming times. Over the past several weeks, I’ve felt an energetic turning within myself. Although I’m humanly experiencing watching the drama of our lives play out right along with you, I also feel a sense of my psychic antennas turning towards the ‘beyond’ of three dimensions. What is five dimensions like? How does it work? What does it mean? How do we get there? What are the steps? I suspect this is what is more and most important to be writing about here. This is what I seem to be turning my attention towards. Although this energy update is long enough, I’ll leave you with a short outline of concepts that are brewing on the horizon to begin exploring in five dimensions. As a side note, in the last several weeks, I’ve noticed its been important to focus again on what do I want to create? What do I want to do in the new energy? Among many things, one of the most important things I’m most excited about potentially doing this lifetime is flying. I so badly want to fly I can taste it. So, that’s the carrot I’m dangling for myself. I want to stay so that I can fly. What do you want to do in the new energy? New Energy Short List: Energetic Basics: Remember always breathe, clear, ground, center and run light, opening and expanding your energies so the new energy can more readily come into you. Cultivate the energies of light and love: This takes you off the old energy radar screen and puts you in the new energy. It gives you expansiveness that then gives you connection to the resources you need to survive (connection to spirit guides, universal openness, synchronicity, serendipity, etc). Listen and live the truth of your intuitive: The closer your are to your authentic path and your intuitive truth, the more likely you are walking upon the foundation of the new energies. New energies resonate less to the static of mind logic and more to the open heartedness of heart felt knowing and heart felt truth. (Living your passion is not bunk. Living your passion will keep you alive in the new energies). God helps those who helps themselves: When you are actively moving in the direction of helping yourself in the situations you are working in, it creates energy flow in that direction. This is the energy flow where Spirit Guides and the universe can also step in to help create solutions and resources along side you. (Helplessness and victimhood kill this energy). Manifesting: Our manifesting abilities weekly now are growing stronger and stronger. Please be practicing your manifesting capabilities on a daily basis. Be very clear in what you are creating. Be very clear in what you are asking for. Be very clear about your personal authentic path connected to heart knowledge. Remove yourself in as much as possible from the Matrix: And begin putting step after step into the new energies. I know at times it may seem we are inundated and surrounded by the system. We are. But there is more outside the system and this is the world we are stepping into. So, as the old falls away, participate in it less and less. But at the same time, put steps forward into the new energy. This is the building of the bridge. Supplies: In as much as what is possible and appropriate for you, please put in your supplies. I have had people mention to me, and I went through a period of this myself of ‘supply gathering is fear based.’ I struggled with this one for awhile and finally Spirit said to me, “What is so fear based about taking care of yourself?” It falls along the lines of this: if you know a level five hurricane is going to hit the coastline in two days, do you sit out on your deck, have a barbecue, drink beer and wait for it, doing nothing? Well, if you want to commit suicide, go ahead. Normally, you’d board up the windows, gather food and water and hunker down or leave. Folks, we’re headed into more than a level five situation. Take care of yourself. Many fish, many loaves: But for all the preparations, you can’t prepare for everything. And Spirit has been showing me too that it’s important to have the seeds to grow in the new energy. This may be material items or even intention. I’ve been shown that in some way, we will be able to do what Jesus did. He fed crowds with only several fish and several loaves of bread. Our ability to multiply our supplies, our intent will eventually flourish in the new energy. I don’t know how, but I feel it’s potential and possibility. Please be open to this concept. Connection with the Divine, Light, Intelligent, Highly Intended Extra Terrestrials: Will help trigger the latent DNA within all of us holding our ability to use the new energies. Let’s welcome this experiences so we can move forward. Explore your personal psychic/healing abilities: We’re all psychic. We all have gifts. Moving into the new energy is not about a few select individuals using their gifts . . . its about ALL of us using our gifts. Interfacing with the Natural World: The natural world is rich with this new energy. Rich in communicating within these new energies. We know so little here, use it too much in all the wrong ways. Earth is living and breathing and can tell and teach us so much. We’ll be moving more towards symbiosis in working with her in so many ways. Leaving money behind: Money is our security blanket, or so we think. But what I’m seeing and sensing is that money is a substitute for something we think we want, but it actually gets in the way. Money hinders us. Eventually we will be going to another money system or no money at all. When you release the fear about this and begin to conceptually think about money on an energetic level, you’ll begin to see some interesting dynamics. More about this later. Energy: Right now our energy comes from centralized locations. I’m going to be poking into this more later, but keep in mind that we are our own sources of energy, of power. We’ve been told we have no idea how powerful we really are. Believe. Someday we will be living in a time when we produce our own power/energy on so many levels. The fossil fuel based system we now live in will look ancient and archaic (no more need for coal or gas or natural gas).  Silent Rumble by Dana Shino November 4, 2004 Breath and blood set living history deeper than one choice. We thought we chose a president. Was there anything else? Did you hear the silent rumble underneath the crowded voices? Did you hear the silent rumble beyond our thoughts two-way divided? Did you feel the shift as we stood in primary colors? There were signs and votes and soul notes, all colors, all skins. Did you feel the shift beneath where two masses stood on opposite sides of a polarity street? Did you feel the silent rumble and shift beneath as two parts further cracked, divided? Did you feel us pass beyond a point of no return? Did you feel the anchor we set as each side faced the other? With the dye cast — one lot out, the other in, did you feel the shift and silent rumble win? Regardless of your choice, we’ve cracked this baby open to silent rumblings in the deep below the earthly crust. Watch carefully in the crack of the soul of our nation, a coming rumbling of the new rumbling up from within. Be ready for the rumble, it’s coming down the path. Be ready for the rumble up through the cracks. Be ready for the rumble in the day and the dead of the night. Be ready for the rumble for bumps, upsets and fights. Be ready for the rumble and dig into your compassion. Be ready for the rumble and love one another right. Be ready for the rumble making place for the new.
