Overall Energies: Difficult Energies and Mixed Signals We’re hovering folks. That’s all I can say. For those of us who are awake and cognizant of the ball that is rolling and the coming major shift— we’re waiting. We can feel ourselves hovering on the precipice of it, and yet, we still have to wait. This waiting seems interminable because WE KNOW in the depths of our souls we came for something big this time. In this waiting, we question (because awake souls do this a lot). We look back and know that’s the old way we left behind. We can’t go back. But we can’t go on either because the new way isn’t quite here yet. We’re holding space; holding energy. Hovering. In this waiting, there’s been a lot of flat energy— a heavy, lethargic, dark, wet blanket of energy laying over things frequently. There’s also been energy pressing in, pressing down, making us question the very depths of our soul. On some days it’s just hard to move. To believe. To know. To understand. Paired with this is the frequent, unseemly chaos in so many people’s lives as souls choose their paths and energies are sorted out. While those of us who wait (holding space and holding this new energy), others are beginning to shake their heads, waking up from the depths and looking around for the first time saying “I can’t live like this anymore. It’s time for me to shift.” These are people who appear outwardly to be melded to the physical world. Yet, they are beginning to know that something is happening. Something is rustling and moving and going on. It’s like green sprouts shaking dirt off their heads and popping to the surface of the sun for the first time. A LOT of people are watching, knowing something is up. Through February, this waiting, holding space continues as more and more people wait, watch, and lift their heads from the fog. There’s also a tipping back and forth energy, as well as a stop start stop start energy. Then, somewhere, sometime, there’s a shift. We begin to move again. February feels to me like a lot of underneath rustling and shifting, a lot of jolting and disjointed energy (like it’s difficult to know what the right decision is). Then there is a rumbling that moves us paradoxically, inexorably into the power house of March. Again, I feel that monolithic sense of a single power rising and moving, whether we want it to or not. (It feels very much like another cycle of Aug/Sept 2007 except with more gusto). We’re all just going to have to go with it, no matter our situation, beliefs, ideas or feelings. This is the movement of the collective power that is gathering during our ‘wait.’ So, those things (global finance, government and politics, education, health care, religions and more) that are so transparent to those of us who see—this material house of cards, and synthetic cycles we have built and lived in and on so long—we’ll see how far out it is truly extended. We’ll see it more and more for what it is (not what is presented to us) and that it can no longer sustain itself in this fashion any longer. The people who don’t want to see, and the people in power who want to choose what we see, will continue to point at the emperor in his new clothes, acting as if he’s fully covered, when actually he’s standing in his birthday suit for all to see. As for April, it is gleaming and shining and BLANK for me. There are far too many potentials working themselves out in this next 60 days, that April cannot show itself until we have chosen. Until we have decided. Until we have done the piece of this existing wait, hold, rustle awaken and power house shift. A note on weather. Are you watching (and/or experiencing) the weather? Are you seeing how we are gradually escalating in systematic global weather systems that the planet hasn’t seen in recent times? Are you noticing how the weather that used to capture major headlines is now beginning to be more and more of a side-note? Here in Durango, we’ve had an amount of snow and cold that hasn’t been seen in years and years. What about your neck of the woods? Also, a note on the presidential election. I’m not hip on engaging in politics because I believe it is an arena for the current extreme polarities to play out that need to be released. The new energies and new future are NOT in the polarities (more on that in the next section), although people are so drawn into and immersed in them. However, polarities aside, I find it fascinating that ONE presidential candidate is actually voicing the message I have heard from Spirit frequently since fall: power back to the individual, power back to the people, a belief in each individual that they can make a difference. That candidate is (no surprise) Barak Obama. That said, the future energies are not about a single leader in a centralized place working for us (i.e. the president, the CEO, the Pope). That’s the old framework of a few holding all the power (whether it is government, religion or finance). The future energy is about each of us individually, authentically, peacefully, truthfully, holding our own energy, our own light, our own power; amplifying off of and networking with one another. But it only works when each of us ‘awakens’ and seizes the responsibility of our God given free will and choice, standing on our own two legs, creating our own ground and owning our own power (in a peaceful, light filled, authentic, love filled, empowered kind of way). This shift sure looks impossible from this point in place and time in February of 2008, doesn’t it? Worlds have to shift and move for it to happen. So much has to fall out and so much has to rise. Yet, with the potentials at hand, it is very possible. It’s what so many of us came for. We are all far more powerful creatures than we can imagine—especially when we multiply our power over one hundred fold amplifying our light, our divine intelligence, our energies off of one another. If you can hold any concept through the coming dark (of the release of fear through the chaos) before the light begins to rise, hold the concept and energies of how powerful, beautiful and adept you truly are. Hold the concept and energies of how much you are bathed in love and light by the divine, with help and resources always at hand. Hold the concept and energies of the web of others holding this as well around the globe. Hold the concept and energies of all of us connecting these things in one great light web around the Earth. This is our power as individuals. This is our power as the collective consciousness on the planet. The Shift Into Five Dimensions: Living Backwards, Living Forwards, Amplified Duality and Annealing the Heavens with the Earth The greatest journeys we engage with upon this planet are our internal journeys with ourselves, no matter what we are doing, where we are at, where we are going or who we are with. The sense of how we are with our own selves and what we hold when we wake, when we create our days, when we tuck ourselves into bed at night and fly to dream world, this is the essence of our being. Yet, we are repeatedly trained and retrained to focus on the outer crust of life— the physical world (the ‘real’ world, the tactile world)— reacting and responding to it in a fixed, closed-end circuit, believing what our physical world says about us is true. Nothing could be further from the truth. For it is the vast soup of our underlying energies, emotions, psychology (framework), thoughts, wounds, healings, held experiences, various past lives and hereditary genes gooping around in our cells and energy body that spawns and creates our physical world. It is this essence of all that we hold, interacting with the underlying energies of the world around us that creates our lives. Consciousness creates; it’s what is real. Physicality is the result; it’s the actual illusion. (For those of you still looking for concrete ‘real’ proof of this, go check out the effects of consciousness in the Quantum Physics field or cut to the chase with “Messages In Water” by Masaru Emoto. “What the Bleep” is also another soul shifting resource.) So . . . what all this means is most of us have been trained to create in the outer crust of life, physicality, instead of going to the source energy and consistently creating from there. In essence, we’ve been trying to create in the result, not in the root energies. By doing so, we’re prone to the elements our resulting physical world frequently tells us about ourselves: that we’re small, powerless, helpless, ugly, scarce, scared and stupid. And the human brain, in its mental capacity, fuels this closed loop circuit into smaller and smaller worlds and cycles for us. We’ve practiced this as a mass humanity for centuries, programming ourselves in this backwards manner, over and over again until it seems we’ve forgotten something essential: that we’re all divine creatures first and far more than we are physical ones. That the hardtack is the illusion and the ephemeral, the divine is the reality (the truth). That we came here to create with our energies through into the physical; not the other way around. Yet, despite all backwards practices, each one of us is still seeded at our roots, at our soul center, in the light of our DNA with the memory that we are first and forevermore divine, energetic creatures. This is the energy that tells us we are beautiful, powerful, abundant, loving, creative, strong, unique, blessed souls. We each hold the memory of how to seize our real power and create from the root of our soul, up through the energies and out into and through the physical. This is living forwards. This is the global shift at hand in the rising consciousness and rising energetic resonances. We’re all in the process of choosing whether we want to do this or not. It is not a small step. It requires consciousness, great acts of faith, seizing individual choice and responsibility and holding unique individual power. This process has been anything but easy, no matter who we are, no matter which decision we choose. This is where the paths are diverging between relationships, families, political parties, groups, schools, businesses, countries... you name it, it’s happening on all levels everywhere— the split. There’s something quite interesting with this entire process, this split. For in the past, we’ve lived in a linear, three-dimensional world. As humans, we’ve experienced this as duality (good bad, light dark, up down, open closed) with one sequential foot in front of the other. Everything fit pretty neatly inside this box. But with the greater energy and consciousness resonances and the shift out of three dimensions and into five dimensions (multi-dimensionality), the box is busting wide open. So, what does all this mean? Ultimately this means we’re heading to a new landing place packed with multiple potentials, but we’re not there yet. Instead of people consciously wielding this new energy (because so much of it is already here), people are unconsciously funneling it back into what they’re comfortable with... the framework of duality. We’re using our NEW tool in the OLD framework by amplifying duality into ever widening, hyper-sensitive polarities. We’re feeding the old dragon with the new flame. I’m not sure if eventually we’ll split the beast wide open in two, or if we’ll somehow awaken to what we’re doing and make the shift in a more natural way, or some combination thereof. However we do, I’ve learned over the months (and I hope you do too) to step off of polarity as much as possible when it surfaces and hold some kind of energetic ground in the range of grounded peace, love, multi-dimensionality and openness. All these thoughts in mind, here’s a little segue in the heat of the polarity moment to bring us home. I’ve been receiving one sign after another since last January about this: “annealing heaven and earth.” Over and over it has come to me through my personal spiritual and energy work with myself. It’s come in the shapes of stars (the three and two of the theme). As I was writing this energy update, it came again. Steve and Karen Alexander’s “Crop Circle Yearbook 2002” (www.temporarytemples.co.uk) page 12-14 showing the South Field Knot near Alton Barnes, Great Britain (around July 22, 2002). You’ll have to look it up as it’s beyond description. Ultimately, the squares within the circle are the melding of heaven and Earth. Then, on the next page, as if in reference and confirmation to this article, the circle at Etchilhampton, Great Britain (November 8, 2002) with the writing beneath: “...was the polar theme of duality, or opposites; the circles seemed to speak of the coming together of two different realities to create a larger whole.” Ultimately, this entire shift we’re all creating and experiencing, I don’t believe lies within the amplified duality of polarity and the fight that occurs there. I do believe the birthing of this new energy and multi-dimensionality and our ability to harness and wield it peacefully, proactively, and constructively lies closer to the message Spirit continues to communicate that goes something like this. To wield the energy and power of the five dimensions we must ‘each authentically stand in the center of our own power, annealing our heaven (Spirit) in our Earth (body), annealing our energy and light through our body.’ This is the new landing place: the power and energy of five dimensions annealed and broadcast through the physical world... co-creation at its finest. A Roadmap: The Path from Pain to Peace, Wholeness and Real Power My first inklings of the consciousness and energy shift at hand occurred in 2001 through reading Kryon. As I acclimated to the idea and watched the world around me in resonance to the information it made more and more sense. I was beginning to watch the transformation before my very eyes. My first beliefs about this shift were seeded in thoughts of resonating at higher and higher energy levels up and out of our bodies, essentially ‘phfting’ right off into outer space. Since I was already comfortable with floating in the upper echelons of my energy field as well as outside of my body, I liked the idea of the kind of transformation. I sense there is a great deal of this ideology, especially within the metaphysical field. Through 2007, however, my experiences and shift in ideology have brought me to a new understanding. I now believe our greatest way of adeptly shifting into the new energy has everything to do with annealing as much of our energy, our spirit, our energy bodies through our physical body. To me, it’s a greater and greater picture of bringing more and more of our light field in and throughout our energy and physical bodies (annealing heaven and Earth). So many of us have already done so much work in relation to this. (We’ve been purging. Purging material items, especially those of low resonance. Purging old thoughts old ideas old ways old emotions. Purging disease and low energetic resonances from our bodies.) We’ve been making more and more room for these greater resonances of light energy to have a place to flow, amplify and shine throughout our bodies. To date, it seems to me, the more each of us can nestle and burrow and flow our own highest resonating energies into and through our bodies, the better we’re going to be able to shift into these higher resonating energies into multi-dimensionality. (The new children on the earth are already wired, DNA and otherwise, to receive these light energies. The adults on the planet are literally doing an energetic body shift while on the planet to receive these new light energies— no small feat!) From the small glimpses I’ve seen of the future energetic potentials that we’re capable of, right now, the children on the planet are the only humans ready to immerse and wield that kind of energy. The rest of us still have a lot of acclimation. (I know, I know, we’ve already done so much . . . but we haven’t seen, or experienced anything yet!) So, what can we each continue to do on a daily basis to practice being ready to receive this new energy (annealing heaven and Earth)? Many of you are already consciously doing so much— I don’t need to preach to the choir. But I did run across something the past couple of weeks that hits the nail on the head. This is just one more tool (or reminder) to add to your tool bag. I’m a big fan of using emotions as the red flags to our interior, internal psyches— helping us figure out, release and resolve energetic, emotional and psychological energies. So much of the time we ignore our emotional red flags, mask them and bandage them— acting as if the emotion is the problem. Time out. The emotion is the trip wire to our internal emotional and energetic fields much like our nerve endings are the trip wires to our physical body. When we are burning our hand on the stove, do we cut off our hand because we don’t like the pain our nerve endings are sending? No, I don’t think so. So, why do we cut off our emotions when we don’t like the pain they sometimes send us? So, the first step is becoming more conscious of our emotions. The next step is courageously following an emotion back to its source (in our body, in a memory, and in both) to observe what it means to us and why it is occurring in the first place (This is where your own intuitive arts are essential, or help from a trusted outside party). A good third step is asking, “What do I need to learn here?” (An old tool from Oprah I picked up years ago.) This is where you consciously decide what you want to do (continue ignoring, observe, rage, laugh, cry, release, ect). The fourth step, after releasing, is about noting the entire pattern/cycle, being aware of it for the future, and consciously replacing it with something more healthy and whole. These steps have helped me arrive at more awakenings than I can remember and peel back more layers than an onion has. Through the process, I’ve been able to release waves of old energies locked in my body, transforming my soul in a way I never could have imagined and begin to replace them with a better way. The energies we are living in are supportive and conducive to this kind of work (it’s a lot easier than it was twenty years ago). Yet, I was still missing an essential piece from this process. There were certain ‘pains’ showing at certain times in my life, and I ignored and avoided them as much as possible— opting to live in misery with it instead of delve deeper. This pain was so much a habit I was almost unaware I was participating in the cycle. Then, on a day when I was right in the middle of the ‘pain’ I happened to pick up and read an article— Oprah interviewing Pema Chödron (O Magazine, February 2008). I’ve never read any of Chodron’s work, but I’ve heard how much other people like her message and how much she’s helped them. So, I was open to Chödron’s words. The words that first hit me were “...I equate ego with trying to figure everything out...” Zing! When I am in pain, this is never more true. Figuring things out is my control, my safety zone, my way of getting through the jungle. What else is there? Several paragraphs later, Oprah’s asking her about ‘...life is slamming you against a wall and you’re supposed to say, “Let me open up and get slammed more?”’ Pema’s response was something of the ilk of ‘be in the moment with yourself. Be as present as possible with yourself. Be there for yourself.’ Her words hit dead center and tears welled up in my eyes. I sat down and said to myself that it was impossible for me to sit with myself with this pain, so ingrained for so many years. I could feel, now coming to light, how I had run away from myself for years in this part of my psyche, anchored in my root, the basement of my soul. I could feel how the pain came up out of me, running after me in my self abandonment, telling me I had left myself and it was time to come back. I set the article down. All that was left was to try. In my last act of defensiveness I crossed my arms across my chest like a stubborn child. Then I breathed deep and let out some more hurt. Then, somewhere in the fold of Pema’s words and understanding; my struggle of pain, flight and fight; and an odd resolution to stubbornly reject the entire idea yet at the same time tremendously needing an emotional and energetic resolution, I felt ‘me’ slide into that place. I could feel the unresolved minor chord of years peacefully resolve itself into major harmony, and I found some moments of peace inside myself where I had struggled so long. It was truly this simple: sitting and being with myself in the place of painful self abandonment where my soul had wailed at me to come home. So, I add this last element to the steps above: be with yourself in peace and love in the places you have created your greatest self abandonment and soul pain. This is how we reflect healing our souls, our bodies, our Earth. This is our greatest act of annealing our heavens with our Earths.  Your contributions help support The Purple Phoenix Press.
