Eclipses and Celestials
paint their songs’ notions
across creation’s vast eternalness
and knock on the Almighty’s door.

Shallowness,
elemental Unmeant,
are not sung
in their eternal Time song.

All is meant
in the depths of dawns’ flushings.
All is meant
in days’ all day noted display.
All is meant
in night’s crystal starred power.

For all songs
of the universe
sing as one:
All songs
of all thought
all emotion
all movement
all being
sing as one.

And the depths of all universal songs
overcome the space between moments,
between the tick of each tock.

Eternity’s song
is singing to you
in the space between moments
in the palm of your clock.

For as time stretches eternal,
as eternal it does,
it goes not silently.
The strands in it’s music
The chords in it’s music
The cloth of it’s music
Coos like a winged turtle dove
on the edge of an evening.
Gurgles like a baby
in moon shed light.
Trickles like water
underneath a needled pine.

The song of all eternity,
time shed from stars,
time shed from God’s breath,
is sung to you
in winged symphonies
and orchestral strains
in the space between moments.
